The only close-up portrait of an employee of the ASTCo that
I have seen is that shown below.
The subject is clearly not wearing badges or buttons from
the corporation system, so by
default, he is almost certainly a motorman of the ASTCo. On
the evidence of this photo, staff
probably wore standard 'Motorman' and 'Conductor' badges
(non-underlined), together with a
shield-shaped badge. No examples of this latter badge are
known to me. The round Number
'9' badge may be some kind of licence as photos also exist
of corporation tramways staff
wearing them (thanks to Ian Souter for this information).
Buttons appear to be of a plain blazer style.
